Richard Simman, MD, FACS, FACCWS offers the following non-surgical injectable options at his Miamisburg, Dayton, and plastic surgery offices:

BOTOX® Cosmetic

Botox is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck.

A Botox treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that relaxes the overactive muscles whose repeated contractions cause the lines between your brows to form. So you can frown, smile or look surprised—without the furrows, creases, and wrinkles. One Botox treatment lasts up to four months.

JuvedermTM Injectable Gel

Juvederm is a semi-permanent injectable filler for treating facial wrinkles and plumping up lips. Because Juvederm is water-soluble, it fills wrinkles and depressions in the skin with a natural substance while slowly being reabsorbed by the body.

Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid - a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Dr. Simman injects Juvederm under the skin to provide a smooth, natural look and feel. In addition, Juvederm injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color.

LatisseTM Solution

The only FDA approved product indicated to treat hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing their growth including length, thickness, and darkness. LatisseTM solution is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

Latisse is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in 2 ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The exact way it works is unknown. The onset of effect with Latisse solution is gradual. In clinical trial, the majority of Latisse users saw a significant improvement by 2 months.

Radiesse® Dermal Filler

Radiesse is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a water-based gel and injected into the skin through a simple, safe, and minimally invasive procedure Radiesse injections work below the skin's surface to stimulate the body to produce new collagen. Radiesse does more than just temporarily fill in facial lines and wrinkles - it actually provides facial volume. You get immediate results that may last a year or more in many patients. In addition, Radiesse treatments may require fewer office visits for retreatment.
