Breast Plastic Surgery

Breast Reduction

You may be interested in breast reduction if you have large, heavy breasts, which may be the cause of breathing difficulties, back, shoulder and neck pain, poor posture, bra strap indentations, or chafing under the breasts. You may also desire breast reduction if you have excessive breast size, which may decrease a sense of attractiveness and self confidence. If large breasts interfere with normal daily activities or with exercise, breast reduction may be helpful.

Breast Augmentation

Women who desire larger breasts may wish to have a breast enlargement (augmentation) procedure. Breast augmentation may also be indicated for women who have one breast that is noticeably smaller than the other. Breast augmentation is intended to create larger and more shapely breasts. A more positive self image may also be a result of breast enlargement.

Breast Augmentation with Lift

A breast augmentation with lift can help you achieve larger, firmer and perkier breasts. This is a popular option for women who have experienced sagging and lost breast volume after pregnancy. This combined procedure can dramatically enhance the breast contour, eliminating sagging, overstretched skin, lifting the breast and nipple into a more youthful position, and restoring fullness to the breasts with the implants of your choice.

Corrective Augmentation Surgery

Breast implant revision surgery, also known as corrective augmentation surgery, is a procedure that includes removing breast implants, or removing and replacing breast implants. Corrective augmentation surgery is an option for women who have older implants and who wish to have newer implants. This is because newer implants are softer and more natural-looking. Corrective augmentation surgery is sometimes necessary for women whose breast implants have deflated, leaked, or otherwise become misshapen.

Breast Lift

Breast lift cosmetic surgery is an option for women who wish to have more youthful, perky breasts. The intended outcome is for your breasts to sit higher on your chest. The procedure can reshape the breasts, tighten sagging skin, and reposition the nipple, as needed. Breast lift can be combined with breast augmentation if you wish to experience both a lift and an increase in breast volume.

Reconstructive Breast Surgery (including reconstruction after mastectomy)

The goals of reconstructive breast surgery differ from those of cosmetic breast surgery. Reconstructive surgery is performed on abnormal structures of the breasts, caused by birth defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma or injury, infection, tumors, or disease, including breast cancer.

Breast Reduction for Men—Gynecomastia

Men who are uncomfortable with the contours of their chests might consider male breast reduction surgery, which is also known as gynecomastia. Genetics and aging can cause men to have larger than average breast tissue. After weight loss, men may find that they have sagging or excess skin in the chest area. Gynecomastia is intended to remove excess breast tissue and give patients a more masculine chest appearance.
