Meet board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Simman.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Richard Simman practices in the Dayton, Ohio area. Dr. Simman's background includes training in General Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York, NY, and a Plastic Surgery Residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in Southfield, MI under the supervision of Dr. Ian T. Jackson, a world famous plastic surgeon. In addition, Dr. Simman completed a Burn Fellowship followed by a Research Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

As an active clinician and researcher, Dr. Simman's work has been published in numerous major journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics of Plastic Surgery, The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, Wounds, Academic Emergency Medicine, and others. He is an active member of numerous medical associations. Dr. Simman is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Research Associate Professor with the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He is a past President of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists (ACCWS).

Dr. Simman offers a variety of plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery services. Dr. Simman is currently performing procedures at Sycamore Hospital and his Good Samaritan North Health Center locations to serve Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
